Have a look at the projects I undertook in my academic journey, where you will learn my intent behind those projects, and the approaches to solve a challenge presented.

Indoor Localization of Robot

Motive: The need to get some hands-on-experience pushed me to choose this challenging project, even when it encompasses diverse fields that I am not a expert in.
Challenge: Figure out how to integrate different sensors into the model and configure it such that robot is aware of its position.
Solution: As a team of 3 people, collectively designed three approaches that have a higher probability of working, while giving a proof of testing on field.

Sliding Mode Controller for Drone

Motive: The need to push my skills in the field of control engineering prompted me to develop a drone from scratch and design a controller.
Challenge: A nearly precise mathematical model of our drone in simulation software (MATLAB) and design a state-of-the-art controller.
Solution: As a team of 2 people, we configured a PID control on micro-controller for hovering. We provided the simulation results of Sliding mode controller on our system.

Nano Satellites Constellation & Formation Control

Motive: The idea was to design a control strategy of a completely unknown system in an uncharted environment.
Challenge: Figure out a problem statement among giant set of ideas in the field of space engineering.
Solution: As a group of five, we brainstormed every step in project journey to hold onto one control strategy that caters to the purpose of the project.

Fault Detection in Refrigeration Systems

Motive: The need was to explore various strategies to identify fault in refrigeration systems.
Challenge: Figure out a pattern among the large chunks of real-time sensor data extracted from refrigeration system and identify the fault location.
Solution: As a group of four, we acquired knowledge in different machine learning techniques and trained models to identify fault in very minimal time.

PID Controller for Robotic Arm

Motive: This is where my pursuit of answer for the question of "How to control systems ?" started and still I haven't stopped asking.
Challenge: Figure out a way to position the joint with as less chattering (or more smoothing) as possible.
Solution: As a group of four, we tried to implement Ziegler Nicholas tuning rules to obtain the exact combination of proportional constants for as less noise as possible.

Building myself piece-by-piece along personal and professional dimensions to contribute to my team and be a part of bigger change made by these two companies: Varian in Cancer care and Beacon in designing workflows for diverse industries.

Field Service in Varian

Truebeam and Halcyon machines are the sophisticated multimodality machines designed with the ulterior motive of creating a cancer-free world.

Keeping the best interests of providing service to people in heart, challenged myself into learning and working with complicated Linear accelerator machines, commonly known as linacs. Precise Dosage of high-energy x-rays or electrons will be delivered to target tumors while minimizing damage to surrounding healthy tissue.

My services include maintenance, and repair of following components:

Mechanical Components - Motors, Encoders, Harmonic Drives
Radiation Components - Collimator, Target, Carousel
Electronic/Electrical Components - PCBs, Sensors, Capacitors, Power supplies.

Commenced my career by experimenting with Electromagnetic Simulation tool CST Studio Suite by Dassault Systems. As a reseller of this software, I nudged myself into

Implementation of High frequency design models in this software.
PCB Design Analysis - Signal Integrity Analysis, Power Integrity Analysis
Coordination with Dassault Systems regarding integration of this simulation tool with various disciplines.

Adaptability

Research of new innovative approaches to solve a problem.

During the course of our nano-satellite project, we had brainstormed almost a month to fix on a problem statement that serves the purpose of the project.
